Our international promoter, Manuel Bastida, paid a visit in October 2008 to our friends of the West Michigan Fire Juniors from United States.
During his visit he presented them with our formal invitation to participate in Copa Querétaro 2009. Manuel also gave them T Shirts from last year's tournament and a trophy for their participation in CQ 2008.
Courtney Nash Director of Youth Development and the team's president Brock West, toured Manuel around Holland city and invited him to watch a soccer game of the West Michigan Fire.
During meetings at their head office, the club expressed great enthusiasm and interest in going back to the 2009 tournament, and they are intending to send one male and one female team.
